Evening at the beach

When we were in California we went to Crystal Cove. It's an area in Newport Beach. We learned about it from a girl that works with Jon, she grew up in Newport. We had never heard of it before so we were excited to do something new with our girls. We waited to go until around five o'clock in the evening so the tide would be out. It was so much fun, our girls loved it. I would highly recommend it, if you are ever in southern California. There were all kinds of sea creatures. We stayed long enough to watch the sunset. It was beautiful. Of course there are a lot of pictures of Laynie because it was her first time seeing the ocean. None of my girls have ever been afraid of water. Which can be a good and bad thing. We couldn't let Laynie out of sight for a second, or she would run right out into the water.
